Spooky Night Hike

A Forest in the City: Teaching the Natural History of Portland

August 11-15, 2008
9:00 - noon

Through this course, classroom educators gain the knowledge and skills to bring the natural world of Portland into their classrooms. This course develops along three themes: learning local natural history, gaining skills to develop outdoor curriculum, and exploring current theory of place-based education.
