“No Ivy” Day

SATURDAY, May 3, 2008; 9:00 – noon

Help the Friends of Tryon Creek State Park cut ivy off of trees on “No Ivy” Day. When ivy climbs trees, it not only flowers and spreads its seeds; the weight of the ivy can knock over those trees, destroying entire tracts of forest. Come help us stop this invader of the woods!

Groups of 5 or more, please pre-register first. All minors require a parent/guardian-signed insurance form.

Please contact Robin Lewis at 503.636.4398 or robin@tryonfriends.org for more information.
