No Ivy Day

Saturday, May 2, 2009
9:00 – Noon

Help the Friends of Tryon Creek State Park cut tree ivy on No Ivy Day on May 3rd from 9 to noon.  When ivy climbs trees, it not only flowers and spreads its seeds, the weight of the ivy can knock over those trees, destroying entire tracts of forest.  Come help us stop this invader of the woods!

No preregistration Necessary
