Join Education Director, Stephanie Wagner, to get the inside scoop on what makes soils so fascinating – and so important to the health of our ecosystems.  We’ll dig into the complexity of mineral and animal life that contributes to forming healthy soils and productive gardens.

Join PSU students and Friends of Tryon Creek to learn simple ways we can all reduce our carbon footprint.  Walk through the park and visit stations along the trails designed to give you ideas on how to eat seasonally and locally and find creative ways to reuse and recycle more efficiently. You will be making items you can take home with you to help you reduce your own carbon footprint.
