The Friends of Tryon Creek will once again usher in the holiday season with their annual Forest Market on December 3^rd and 4^th. The event will be held in the Nature Center located in the scenic Tryon Creek State Natural Area.

This year’s expanded market includes the beautiful handiwork of talented regional artisans and vendors, all with a focus on nature and sustainability. 

Featured this year will be a book signing of the recently released “Wild in the City: Exploring the Intertwine” by local naturalist and advocate Mike Houck at 1-3 pm both days. The book will also be available for purchase.

Proceeds from all vendor sales benefit the Friends of Tryon Creek’s many educational and stewardship programs. The event is free and the public is invited to attend.
