Thank you for your interest in the Friends of Tryon Creek Scholarship Program.We try to give a scholarship to all qualified applicants. That amount can very from 25% to 90% of the camp fees depending on your income. Please note that we are only able to offer one week of camp on scholarship per child per summer. Scholarships are not granted for before and after care. |

In order to apply for a scholarship please complete all of the steps below:
STEP 1
Register your child(ren) on-line. Check the box “Request Scholarship” with the payment information. Please fill out the credit card information. Your account will not be charged until your application has been processed and you agree to accept. Your registration will show the full camp payment. That amount will be adjusted to your actual scholarship amount and only the scholarship amount will be charged to your card once you agree to accept.
STEP 2

- A copy of your 2011 tax return.
- A single page letter that briefly describes the reason for your request for financial assistance and why you feel this program will benefit your child.

Applications are due by May 11th. We must receive all three parts of the application (form, letter, and Tax Return) in order for you to be considered for financial assistance.
STEP 3
You will be notified of the results by June 1st. You will need to confirm your acceptance by June 8th. At that time your credit card will be charged the adjusted scholarship fee. If you decide not to accept the scholarship your records will be removed from our system.
