Portland Parks & Recreation invites you to join us for our 14th annual No Ivy Day. Revel in the celebration of invasive plant removal and community participation in our treasured natural areas. Portland Metro-wide ivy removal work parties will run from 9am to 12pm, followed by a gathering of food and celebration at various sites.  Enjoy refreshments, raffle prizes and mingle with community volunteers.

Christmas Bird Count

Every winter season since 1926, volunteers have spent a full day identifying and counting birds within a 15-mile diameter circle in Portland. Here at Tryon we generally spend a half day walking the trails and counting all we hear and see. Join the longest running citizen science project in North America! It’s also a great way to hone your birding skills.
