Ash & Oak Workshop Series

  • Friends of Tryon Creek - Education Pavilion 11321 South Terwilliger Boulevard Portland, OR, 97219 United States (map)

Join the Oswego Lake Watershed Council for a free workshop to support forest health and preparedness. Thank you to the City of Lake Oswego's Municipal Grant program for funding this project, supporting the implementation of the Urban and Community Forestry Plan.

Learn how to identify signs and symptoms of invasive beetles in trees, such as Emerald Ash Borer and Mediterranean Oak Borer. Hear from experts, including ISA Certified Arborist Brian French. This helps track and intercept pests that could cause severe damage to the urban forest. Join us as community scientists to help collect tree inventory data. Help us combat climate change and strengthen our community’s resilience to climate impacts by keeping trees healthy.

Registration is required - You may sign up for one or multiple workshops. Please take a moment to sign up here.
