Nature Crafting for Adults

  • Friends of Tryon Creek 11321 South Terwilliger Boulevard Portland, OR, 97219 United States (map)

Gather in the new pavilion to learn and practice a few nature-inspired crafts. Enjoy light refreshments, a hot tea or non-alcoholic cider and take home a seasonal gift to share.

Project demonstrations and materials will be supplied to create a forest plant tea sampler and natural conifer wreath.

Together we will be:

  • Learning about native plants in the Tryon forest that can be collected, dried and turned into nourishing teas. Sampling already gathered teas and mixing them to create your very own forest tea sampler.

  • Artfully combining forest conifers with dried natural decorations, like fir pinecones and lichens, around a wire frame to create a beautiful seasonal wreath.

Ages: 16+

Fee: $55 non-member $45 members (includes all materials, beverages and hands-on instruction)
